What is Magic?

I recently posted the above graphic. A friend commented: Define Magic. Oh boy. I've been sitting on that one ever since. 

So, I am just going to riff on what Magic is to me. I'd love to hear what magic is to you! 

Magic is The Miracle of Life. Which is why when we had a 3rd kid and our first two kids names had started with the letters "M" and "G" I had to name our baby with a name starting with "C". ha! Get it? MGC = Magic. Because to me, my kids make life magical.

Life is magical if we open our eyes. Science can try to "explain" biology down to the smallest part of an atom. Science can name the parts that compose our cells and show us all sorts of cool things... but at the end of the day, why these parts come together and create Life... is magic. 

Magic is feelings of wonder, awe and ease. It is and openness and lightness inside of you. It is realizing that you aren't in control and that is A-Ok. 

Magic is learning to use the power of your mind to transform your life. Magic is believing in possibility. Magic is letting go of resistance that causes so much pain and accepting what is.
